July 22, 2009 Today is Wednesday. Family camp is coming up this weekend. I'm kinda looking forward to it, yet at the same time I am really ehhh about it. Hopefully it will be a good time to relax, hangout with friends, and of course draw closer to God. I am very interested in seeing how it will turn out since this is the first time for me at least, that the English and Cantonese congregations are going to be fellowshiping together. I know for sure the food is going to be really good =). These past few days God has given me the opportunity to share my faith on the CCSF campus with fellow belivers from EPIC. I feel blessed that they came here this summer and God is really teaching me how to go outside my comfort zone. I am hoping that this experience will help me be more willing to share my faith during the school year as well. I really thought people were going to be very against what we are doing, which is taking a spiritual survey, but people on campus are surprisingly very open about their beliefs. I am so amazed of how the people from Epic have come here from wherever they live to share their love for God to people they do not even know. I pray that I can follow their example and be more out going and can gain the courage to share my faith with other students at school. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Today was the last day of our Visitacion Valley summer day camp. The past month of camp was alot of fun for me, but also very tiring. I have realized how different the Vis valley community is from Sunset or Richmond. God has showed me this summer that although the kids from the area face different problems than other kids do, He still loves them equally. God has really blessed me this summer to allow me to work in the community to watch and see what He is doing in the area. Tonight I was able to meet some of the families of the kids and build new relationships with the families. I really want to thank God for the great experience He has given me this summer

Hello world. I woke up early today and have nothing to do, so I decided to write in here. This past week we just finished our first week of camp hope, the day camp in visitacion valley. This year we have a diverse group of kids. God has really helped us grow since last year, when we had 5 or 6 kids to around 24 this year. I really enjoy working with these kids because they do not come from the same background as me. I am praying that God is going to use us to outreach to this community, not only this summer, but also in the future as well.
